But he had a good, long run of it and brought happiness to a lot of people through his music.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Saw him in Welly in early 90's. Fantastic. One of the best gigs ever. He brought a lot of joy to millions. RIP.
