This is kinda a cool video, regardless of what you think of his music, he has some kick arse instruments and lovingly cares for them, I've just top wrapped my Edwards and used the tip from his tech at about 4:20 with using ball ends on the strings as spacers so the wound section doesn't sit on top of the tailpiece and shred your hand... :thumbup:

The old guy is very precise, but Joe's tech i'm very unsure about.
I've seen a video of him demo-ing a real LP 59 and telling everyone how you could sell all the parts off individually for thousands and just replace them with other parts... :crazy:
Yeah... i'll just go paint a moustache on the Mona Lisa.

Dan Erlewine is a legend guitar maker/modder.
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.
