Phone recording and I'm rusty for not playing much recently. Also my Youtube link wont embed for some reason...
This is kind of a brown sound type thing with the gain rolled back a bit. Been considering going for more of an Allen Hinds low gain tone as well which I will have to work in at some point.

Re: Show Us Your Tone
I wanted to see how much tone I could wring out of my recently purchased Tech21 Blonde.
It's a really remarkable little thing. I'll be carrying it with me so I have a backup if my amp ever dies on the gig.
It's not bloody bad! Excuse the one take, rough as guts blues but the thing really holds it's own imho.

Re: Show Us Your Tone
Made a few clips at the weekend, just with my phone. Wasn't feeling my tone as much as the last time I did this, and my playing was just a mess of sloppy noodling, but here you go. Be warned - last one is acoustic:

More of the same I guess but this time with the '76 Firebird. Getting better acquainted with the Two Rock. Only frustration is the high amount of sag when it's cranked. If I go for a cleaner sound the sag is less apparent. Using The Dude pedal a little during this. Recorded on my phone so, y'know, make allowances...

Re: Show Us Your Tone
Getting some cool tones out of this tiny Fender Champion 600, was kinda stoked and gutted at the same time when I tried it through my Vox 2x12 as it sounded almost identical to my AC30 at the same volumes! Obviously the Vox sounds better cranked but I rarely get to do that anyway. Hmmmmmm got me thinking about amp options again!
For the record this video is just through its factory 6" speaker.

Gotta shove this out there - this is nothing to do with me, other than it being my Suhr being played. Maciek is a great guitarist, and was kind enough to run my Thornbucker+ equipped Classic Antique through his Kemper to demo the pickups. Maciek = Hrybowicz here on the forum.

Re: Show Us Your Tone
The Thornbuckers are fantastic pickups aren't they. I've got them in my Les Paul, and in one of my superstrats. Love the colour of the strat too.null_pointer wrote:Gotta shove this out there - this is nothing to do with me, other than it being my Suhr being played.
