From the mid 70s and for the next 10 years, Frampton Comes Alive was impossible to avoid and you wouldn't really want to. Life was better with Frampton on the radio.
When the vinyl album PFCA came out I had to have it... Still got it.

He peaked and then disappeared.
He had a massive car crash, Broke his head open. Long recovery.

I bet he felt a bit peaky……

Didn’t listen to him at the time, not my generation.

Martin Barre from Jethro Tull. Absolutely fantastic player, and still has great chops.

England really did produce some magnificent guitar players over the last 6-7 decades.

Sadly I'm a lot younger than you.... my generation included Generation X - the group - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_X_(band)). My first gig was Siouxsie and the Banshees, hence I had no time for pretty boy Frampton.

This would explain my constant irritation of Neil Young, Creedence and April Sun in Cuba.

Tell me, I'm intrigued, what was Mozart like live? I've asked slowly but he won't tell!

Canadian blues guitarist, Jeff Healey. Unfortunately, he died young. He is one extraordinary guiarist - blind and played his guitar flat on his lap.

That's an interesting point though BG - lesser known is probably a relative term depending on age and taste. I mean, stop your average punter in the street and they're unlikely to have heard of Steve Vai.

His name is probably mentioned in this forum before, but I missed Vito Bratta.

Amazing guitarist! Shame he was in a band with such godawful songs! 😂
