Whistle Test, from the 80s. Richard Thompson, David Linley and Midge Ure tell Mark Ellen and David Hepworth all about electric guitars. After that, Hendrix, playing in a field.

Wow!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Re: YouTube goodness
watching Joe play the les paul sitting down puts in a nut shell why I don't have one. when ever I play one sitting the fat ass of it puts it at that funny angle and it kinks my back and neck ... I play 90% sitting so they're not for mekwhelan wrote:

Nooooooo, why ?! I guess if it was something that the owner was brave enough to do and had no intentions to sell it, then fair enough. But that's not the case, so thanks for butchering a piece of history just to chase some $$$
"1954 Gibson Les Paul Junior/”Burst” Conversion.
This guitar started its life as a 1954 Les Paul Junior and has been meticulously converted to 1960 Les Paul Standard specs. A new top was made from vintage Eastern Maple and added to the existing Mahogany body along with the addition of binding and trapezoid inlays added to the neck. The neck carve was modeled after a 1960 Les Paul and features a fast, slim profile. Many vintage parts were sourced including 1959 Grover tuners, 1959 wiring harness and switch, 1960 knobs, an era correct bridge and tailpiece, and real PAF pickups. Accurate vintage repro plastic and pickup covers. PLEK’d by Mike Lull for low action and incredible playability. This guitar has the real Burst feel and tone for a fraction of the price! Includes molded hardshell case.

Sonny Landreth with a Komet Overdrive Amplifier pedal. it's only 6 minutes and worth watching through. That's some slide technique.
