Re: Gear fest AK?????
It would be great if it was run more often because the last one was pretty cool, but obviously the Capt has a business to run, so can't.
The last one did seem to go really fast, I was just getting settled in when it was all over. I spent too much time outside on the gaspers
Edit: It would be cool to find an informal regular venue for a NZG social club thing where we bring our amps and stuff to just make noise, hang out, talk music and eat pizza etc on a more regular basis.

I think I'd get bored of them if we had them all the time. I think having them spaced out makes them something to look forward to, and then more people will come.Aquila Rosso wrote:more often

How long do these things usually last? I've been put off in the past by working a lot of weekend days, always wondered if it's worth trying to get there after work.

Re: Gear fest AK?????
AR, experience has shown us that a decent amount of time between gearfests works better.
Stormy, they normally run from about midday to 6pm. Seems to be a ideal amount of time for most guitarists attention span.

though it's preferable if you polish your sausage off at home, either before or after the fest...darkness wrote:with time allotted to polish off sausages and beer.
