Mean. That guitar definitely looks like it has a story to tell.

if you right-button mouse click on the image you will have the option to Open image in new tab (Chrome) or view image-firefox, (IE 8 forget it). you'll get the full image in a new window.
in case it helps anyone.

Ther story probably goes, " In the early years I was played lovingly by a youngster with dreams of a future filled with music and peer approval. Hoping for stardom, instead he married the band groupie. Three kids and a mortgage later, I was sold for a pittance to a clueless cretin who stashed me under his house for 35 years. Some Bozo wrote:Mean. You call this Mojo?"

It is pretty cool in terms of patina, but I'm probably the freak in this thread, in that it looks crusty more than "I WANT TO LICK IT!"

Crusty is what makes it cool.alanp wrote:It is pretty cool in terms of patina, but I'm probably the freak in this thread, in that it looks crusty more than "I WANT TO LICK IT!"
I currently have AiRdAds gorgeous and mint Goldtop in my posession. It comes out of its case after I have checked there is nothing in touching distance. I carefully remove it fron the case, holding on to the lid so it can't suddenly drop and gouge the guitar. My belt is removed so the buckle can't hurt the perfect finish. The moment I'm not actually playing, it's unplugged and locked away in the case again......
It's a fucking pain.
But it's also a fantastic instrument and worth every care and inconvenience to experience.
Guess I just relax more around battered guitars.

It looks like the bridge tone pot has been snapped right out of the body at some point. And it has the most unusual headstock break I've ever seen. Poor thing's lived on the adused side of hard work.

The Memphis Mojo burst. I played many bursts last year at the Arlington vintage show but that one wasn't one of them unfortunately
