Single coil love
Never been a single coil guy, always owned gats with humbuckers, have finally discovered the glassy crispness and low salt butteriness of them, so what's the hot ticket for a tele bridge pickup that's a bit rowdy but noiseless or at least not too hummy?

Re: Single coil love
This is a great traditional Tele tone, but if you're looking for a touch more "meat" (without going into "hot" territory), I would recommend this:badmotor wrote:Area T.

Because teles are great and so is gain.Frey wrote:Normal single coils aren't too hummy. Unless you're using too much distortion, in which case why are you using a tele anyway?

you're not wrong there but as I have said in another thread if your pick is noisy then your not playing your guitar...hit the strings = noise is goneDanger Mouse wrote:I have those in my Ibanez front and middle, they're awesome, but they're not quiet.willow13 wrote:duncan quarter pound

Re: Single coil love
I loved the Area Hot T in the bridge of my Korina Tele but that wasn't a 100% Tele sound I suppose.
