on the auction,,, 6109xxx... hmmm they just added a "6" to the start of the serial?
good spotting Sam
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

PRS serial numbers usually have a single digit first which identifies the year (6 = 2006) then a gap then the actual serial number.

I'm not so sure... if you look at the direction of the chevron flame pattern just below the bridge on both those guitars, they appear to be going in opposite directions. Could just be a huge coincidence? Anyone else see what I'm talking about?Ironbird13 wrote:it sure looks like it , serial 109740sam_the_bogan wrote:http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =570642565

yeah, i see what you mean Ed, was trying to compare the flames myself, but not sure if the different angles of the pics is "distorting" it

Stolen from Botany a couple of months ago, being sold by Mr Money in Papakura. It's the same one for sure!

Stolen gear really pisses me off, some days I think that the 'stocks' should be reinstated as a punishment.

Re: New Stolen Gear - 24th Jan 2013 ...
*** HOT NEWS *** (you'll see what I did there in a minute).
It was our guitar. I had to play it cagey to make sure the guitar didn't go to ground before we got a chance to recover it. It's happened before so you always play these things carefully.
But as of now the guitar is back in our hands.
So ummm yeah thanks ... check your PMs
