FREE guitar strings for beta testing
Hey everyone. Just thought I'd give you a heads up that on Monday we are going to be launching a facebook promotion where you can be involved in beta testing the new yet-to-be-released D'Addario electric guitar strings.
Wanted to give you guys the pre-notification because we only have VERY limited quantities available for testing and they'll go very quickly. I figured you guys would want to be in on the free stuff. Hahaha. I've tried the strings myself and they are pretty badass. They're definitely worth a look.

What's involved in beta testing? I'd be keen to put them through a gig. I dig deep, strum with my whole arm and convert 2-3 1mm picks to dust per gig. Good strings are a must!

What's involved? We give you strings. You play them, then you post feedback on the D'Addario website.twistedthoughts wrote:What's involved in beta testing? I'd be keen to put them through a gig. I dig deep, strum with my whole arm and convert 2-3 1mm picks to dust per gig. Good strings are a must!
You may like these strings. They are claimed to be 30% stronger than their predecessors.

Cheers. Searched for Rockshop, NZ Rockshop, on Facebook, nothing popped up. Do you have a link for your Facebook page?

If you need to know how they sound after 5 years on the same guitar, I'm your man...
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Should I keep refreshing the FB page from 12am onwards?

Re: FREE guitar strings for beta testing
I wouldn't mind trying a set some time, cos I hate the normal d'addarios with a vengence bordering on righteous obsession. But I have much better stuff to do than wait around monday I'll just buy a pack at some stage
oh hang on, I'm at work, maybe I will

So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Matt said beta testing, not beater testing.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
