Re: Lightning Wave
Cool! I'll be sending some to Pedal Empire really soon Building the first batch of 20 right now. Hit me up if you're interested in a cheap beta model - I made 9 for the show and their DIP switching will just be different to the final instruction manual.

Re: Lightning Wave
Haha by "really soon" I probably meant in 6 months time .
Man, everything takes ages! Just updated the info here. Have been bogged for quite a few weeks writing the instructions but we're pretty much there there! The pics are up here
We also put together a DIY-er prototype that housed breadboard prototypes or custom PCBs

Re: Lightning Wave
Wow!
And thank you, it gives me a bit of a kick in the bum for my own pedals

Re: Lightning Wave

Re: Lightning Wave
Certainly could. Yeah I ideally want it to be a modulating fuzz-beast, but I haven't really had time to think anything up yet.. The filter has gone through a couple of versions, but it is admittedly not very doomy, hence it being on the sideline.

Re: Lightning Wave
This is how the Unknown is supposed to work e.g. prototype an optically or CV modulated sound
Then build that sound onto a DIY board that can be swapped over whenever:
Admittedly I haven't had time to actually build a sound card yet..

That's awesome man, represents an incredible amount of work, cool concepts and sounds. Hope the sales go well, you deserve itSpruce_Moose wrote:This is how the Unknown is supposed to work e.g. prototype an optically or CV modulated sound

Re: Lightning Wave
I'm out of the Astros - only made 5 of 20, the rest are Ghosts and there are about 5 left. I could do a discount on building one from the MK1 boards I made last december. They're the same with only set CV output - no sync in/out. Not keen to undercut Deluxe or Pedal Empire on this MK2 batch. From what I gather that would likely be a dick move.Darth Sabbathi wrote:So these are on sale now Spruce? Any direct with discount deals for forumites?
Also, cheers Cdog!

It is really awesome to see your stuff out there.Spruce_Moose wrote:I'm out of the Astros - only made 5 of 20, the rest are Ghosts and there are about 5 left.
