Wanted: Nicely figured veneer.
The Optimus Prime amp wets my panties every time I play it so I want to give it a deserving classier look. Thinking of Flame Maple or other nicely figured timber veneer.
It would need to be 540 x 200 in size.
I know it's not something folks have lying around. I'm keeping an eye on Tardme but if you have any ideas where to look, I'm all ears.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Think I'm going to miss Tronfest. Getting nervous about all the work I still need to do for my stand in gigs.willow13 wrote:pick up before/after tronfest?Slowy wrote:Thanks Willow; that's exactly what I was looking for. there is a guy on facebook that builds guitars, he'll have some. His name is Kerry Trussart. He's on all of the guitars pages.

The Face is a closed book to me. Lost the will to live before figuring out how to use it without parading my whole life before the World.AiRdAd wrote:there is a guy on facebook that builds guitars, he'll have some. His name is Kerry Trussart. He's on all of the guitars pages.

Slowy, please for the love of all things tasteful, don't put figured wood on that amp. You're better than that.

Ply and grill cloth or tolex would be my pick. Maybe an old car badge for good measureSlowy wrote:Interesting....... What would you suggest?bender wrote:Slowy, please for the love of all things tasteful, don't put figured wood on that amp. You're better than that.
