Cheap one in Christchurch.

I once traded a shitload of gear for a Mesa. These days I suppose they're more mainstream.
That 5:50 combo has been around a wee while IIRC. There's a Nomad 45 combo on FB too, it's down to $700 I think. Been there a while, not sure if it's still around.
Ah. You were thinking about this one, eh?

1959 Harmony Jamboree, been abused a bit so plan to replace the bodged replacement bridge, remove the decals and some finish repairs but leave the wear. Not bad for US$125. Ladder braced spruce over birch.

Won the Santana auction. Ended up paying the original Buy Now price but I'm happy. Mostly I'm happy that michelle_chch didn't win it. Would hate to lose to someone on my blacklist...

I know. It's the numerous questions followed by a low ball offer that did it for me. Life's too short and no, I don't want that SG in part exchange just like i didnt want it last time.

I once went way out of my way to deliver a pickup to his home. He sent his kid to the door - so I've not met him myself. Took forever and a direct request just to get some feedback. So, yeah, maybe a nice guy. Just not to do business with. Not in my experience.

Due to paying for a holiday in the uk, I never really got a xmas pressie for myself. But playing bass mostly for the last 5 or 6 months, I've been looking for something smelly but not costly.

Vern, randombob, had this on trademe. Ticked all the boxes - looks cool, will sound cool, will do hooky

Now that's very very nice. Jack Casady would strongly approve
“The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench - a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side."
Hunter S. Thompson
