this'll be it.

that's really cool!

I want to see if i can find spec's for this

i'd love it in just a head format - and use separate cabs.

that being said - isn't this just a Mono in stereo out?

or do you end up using both Hi and Low inputs if you were going stereo in front end..

EDIT: it's mono input

I'm trying to essentially mimic what creation have (not exactly) but just the idea, of having 2 seperate single channel amps with no bells and whistles like trem, effects loops, reverbs etc.

just want 2 inputs and 2 outputs

here's a schematic for the trace:

I've nearly started something like this a couple of times. Just 2x AX84 power amps http://www.ax84.com/corepoweramps.html , or the Harmless power amp http://cuamps.com/harmless.html is a bit more complete.

is there an "easy" way to alter a 5E3 or some other Single Ended circuit to clean up the signal, give more headroom?

wondering what sort of "simple" clean circuit I can find that will get close to the single 12AX7 + 6L6 idea that Creation are using - no fluff, just volume and single tone knob Stereo setup.

Building guitar's piece of piss.. building amps.. fine with a circuit diagram and pictures.. but altering a circuit is above my pay grade.

I'm not sure about this mod but you can basically reduce the cathode bypass value to 4.7uF or was it .047? lol or less and/or reduce the coupling caps.Mine has been modified for more headroom + just added the twin preamp.

Given your guitar is mono, what's the value in stereo here?

Is this to sit behind a stereo delay or similar and then just saving you carrying a 2nd head?

Aside from being an interesting project, sounds like a lot of effort for no real benefit.

mostly for shits and giggles.

but yeah, the last 3 parts of my board are stereo.

Mobius> Timeline>Bigsky > Stereo Sum Box

that way I can go stereo out, or Mono if i want without re-wiring my board.

But yes - to avoid bringing 2 amps, and as a bit of a project.

Next question would be.. I wonder what transformers I'd have to go for.. ie; would i have to double up on output Transformers or just get a grunty-er one and Parallel it's output. (current in series vs parallel)
