Re: Blind Amp Challenge
Great video, thanks for posting this. Reminds me of the beginning of 'It Might Get Loud' where Jack White nails a pickup and a string to an old piece of wood (with a coke bottle for a bridge) and then wails on it with a slide.Reg18 wrote:Not amp related but if blindfolded I’m

Most of what we chat about here regarding tone is folklore and marketing hype (and I enjoy that). Meanwhile, great music is made on the most unlikely of instruments.

Re: Blind Amp Challenge
It's like the Dimevision DVD
The bit where dimebag is playing through a small battery amp and he's basically making it squeal and and the stuff he's known for without a big rig ect

I don't think there is a difference between a fence post and a Tele.Reg18 wrote:Not amp related but if blindfolded I’m

When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
Re: Blind Amp Challenge
Well your idea of a Tele Molly, I’d say there’s about $4k difference.Molly wrote:I don't think there is a difference between a fence post and a Tele.
But I realise I’m splitting hairs there

When I get reincarnated as a top Delta bluesman, that is going to be my name, Blind Amp Challenge.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.
