Since I'm not really playing guitar any more I'm spending all my spare cash on shoes and clothes, oh dear!

Theres hundreds of youtube channels devoted to it, you should look up the hypebeast movement if you think what you spend on guitar gear is excessive, check out what people will spend on a white t-shirt with a supreme logo on it... madness...Molly wrote:You'll be needing a personal grooming forum then. I have to say - I don’t get this shit at all. I see it. I get the hype. I look right through it.jeremyb wrote:Theres hundreds of youtube channels devoted to it, you should look up the hypebeast movement if you think what you spend on guitar gear is excessive, check out what people will spend on a white t-shirt with a supreme logo on it... madness...Molly wrote:You'll be needing a personal grooming forum then. The thing is most normal people know nothing of these brands and won't be in the least bit impressed, the only people they impress are other people who buy into this shit, it's bonkers.... I guess guitars and pedalboards and amps are a bit the same tho'...GrantB wrote:I have to say - I don’t get this shit at all. I see it. I get the hype. I know what you mean - I've got heaps of old air jordan shoes. Know one really notices them when I go out, but if I go into a shop like Footlocker all the sales guys come up and ask about them straight away!jeremyb wrote:The thing is most normal people know nothing of these brands and won't be in the least bit impressed, the only people they impress are other people who buy into this shit, it's bonkers....
