When I started playing guitar (like a century ago), if you wanted a capo, that's the one you got, 'cos that's the one there was.Single coil wrote:willow13 wrote:i've got oneWhere’d they come from?jvpp wrote:Yip got the same one too

'Made in Japan' was a byword for cheap rubbish.
China made fireworks.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

yeah it is. Now Japanese made guitars are revered. I have been wanting a model series Charvel for years but now they aren't considered "cheap" so the prices are getting up thereSingle coil wrote:Funny how that’s all worked out innit

Re: Old ass capo
I would use capos a bit more, but the guitar is almost never perfectly in tune with one on. I may have to invest in a better one.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Yeah, sometimes I need to move the capo around a bit too, because of the tuning thing. Usually means changing the angle a tiny bit.Delayman wrote:I would use capos a bit more, but the guitar is almost never perfectly in tune with one on. I may have to invest in a better one.
