I have one, it's excellent, no reliability issues with it. Getting a second for stereo shortly.
Headrush have said it's tuned differently to the Alto and uses different components. Take that as you will.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
Plenty of people rate the Alto stuff for FRFR, I think it's pretty hard to go wrong with building a clean solid state power amp, the only thing the cheaper ones seem to skimp on is the resiliency of the cabinet and perhaps the speakers...

recording is quite good with it, but I just used it for headphone jamming mainly. The key was that they had it for US$199 in the black Friday sale, which was damned good value.
