Yep, the SG Jr is my go-to rock machine. It’s fat yet clear...pushes amps nicely. I remember when theseearly 60s ones were $1500 usd - sigh....Les_Paul86 wrote:Such an amazing collection.

Re: The WRC Family Shoot
Quassi-necro-thread. I note from the first shot teh 1957 Les Paul Special has been sold. All else remains as is...with the addition of a 1972 Mahogany Telecaster Custom, currently in pieces in the garage. My spring resurrection project.
Loaded this larger shot onto Imgur for someone on LPF, so thought I'd post here also. Love this thing, and glad I held onto it. I've owned and sold a lot of vintage guitars, usually because I have had a double up...but not with this. I doubt I could replace it easily. 60's PAT No pickups with long A5's. Burst killa

Back in the day I bought a beautiful Explorer with the biggest bloody neck I've ever encountered on a Gibson. Paid 350 quid for it. If youth knew and age could....

They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

You didn't happen to have scribbled the serial down way back then did ya? If the neck was massive, it was likely one of these LE's.Molly wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 1:07 pmLove how the grain complements the lines of the guitar.GrantB wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 10:50 am Quassi-necro-thread.
