Re: Experience PRS 2021
It’s a proven factoid that no-one ever got laid playing a PRS.
That’s why PRS is so angry - he builds one of the best guitars in the world, and some munter with a broken headstock and stonewash denim jacket walls into the bar and steals his girl....

Not meaning to be argumentative, but that is patently incorrect

They're great for insomnia, just glancing my eyes across one instantly puts me to sleep.
The problem PRS has always faced is for their target market, all the good body shapes are taken. So instead they ended up with something that is best described as not offensive... even with all the Private Stock offensiveness they try and glue to them.
They even admitted it with the Silver Sky, they didn't even bother to try and make it look like something other than what it was copying.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll spend thousands on fishing equipment he'll use for a bit, then get bored and move onto something else.

Especially Mayer - Silver Sky introduced 2018 - before vs after is somewhat notable: https://www.more.com/celebrity/just-wai ... has-dated/KNNZ wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 3:20 pmNot even John Mayer?

Send me the red one!
(Just kidding )
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Tokai
Suhr
LSL
Exotic
Fernandes
Schecter
Hahn
And this wouldn't be 10% of the total.

Re: Experience PRS 2021
My point isn't that copying a strat is a new thing, more that PRS have spent decades trying to not be a Gibson or Fender copy. Plus there are examples of guitars trying to be strats, without looking exactly like a strat, the Godin Passion for example.Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:04 amWhile you are correct, in the interest of balance might I mentionDanger Mouse wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 3:52 pm
