I enjoy his band Cardinal Black’s EP they put out recently but yes there’s way more to music than a tasty solo!GrantB wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 8:38 pm Tasty, and there's of that YT produced stuff out there and it's often amazingly clever. I can appreciate the technical aspects, and phrasing (as per Molly), also the tone...

In regards to the youtube star thing, Chris does have a band, Cardinal Black. The stuff I've heard so far is a little expensive hotel lobby music to my ears, but probably because of where my tastes normally lie.

Cool, I’ll check them out. I like his personal touch in his videos.jeremyb wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:49 amI enjoy his band Cardinal Black’s EP they put out recently but yes there’s way more to music than a tasty solo!GrantB wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 8:38 pm Tasty, and there's of that YT produced stuff out there and it's often amazingly clever. Was just thinking "there's a great guitarist in need of a great band and a great song"!

His dad is a pastor, who famously got in a spot of bother and was found blaming members of his congregation for his own misconduct.

@DM:
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

@DM:
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

But after that misconduct, it stopped right there, didn't it?Danger Mouse wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 2:44 pm His dad is a pastor, who famously got in a spot of bother and was found blaming members of his congregation for his own misconduct.
