The part of Stevenage Coda is in is nice, good little rock pub (Red Lion) just up the main street from it too. But that is Old Town Stevenage, keep going past the Red Lion and you'll eventually find yourself in New Town Stevenage, which is an absolute shithole.
I lived in Old Town Stevenage for a bit, then moved to Hitchin, not too far away. Much nicer town and Machine Head Music was there, which was Coda's main competition.
What are you doing round those parts?
Oh right. I'm not over there, I just google earthed my way around there after I bought the guitar, curious to where it was, having never heard of that town. I stayed in Cirencester for a month while on holiday about 10 years ago now, at my brothers friends place. It seemed like every second car was an Aston Martin in that village.
Ah OK, yes of course everything is reachable online these days, silly of me to assume you were physically in the shop.
Pop into the Red Hart pub in Hitchin for a virtual pint if you're Google earthing your way around Machine Head Music as well
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Right. This confirms it. I'm Les Paul curious.
Or possibly Les-bian
No, Les-bian is afterwards; when you've tried and decided it's not for you after all.
Isn't that a has-bien ?
In a non specific form, yes. But we were talking about Lesters.

Nice, been looking into post-2014 '68 LPC's for a while. Just couldn't quite justify it yet since I have 3 LPC's already...
Thanks man. Yeah I'm glad I held out for a current one with the '68 custom hums. They're one of the few Gibson pups I hadn't tried - they're quite bright, with a lack of low-end, but very responsive. Quite a change from LP's with rosewood and 50's style pickups.

Less-bien?
All right; you win!

Oh man. This is the year for me to save and get a really nice 'keeper' LP, I'm over buying and selling. Could well be a Custom mmmmm
Cool I could really go for an LP custom 1K off because of pick scratches under the guard.

Um don't really follow unless it's a subtle dig ?! Had one chance to buy a Custom a year or two back but couldn't quite get the cash together. Joe has some of the most exquisite taste on this forum and this thread has got me thinking beyond the usual burst, R8 etc etc
