Anything other than a normal tele i.e. single pups, 3 way switch etc is not a tele IMHO, humbuckers etc just don't cut it, slab body, trad set up, otherwise buy a Strat or Les Paul if thats what you want, the versatile sounds from a stock tele is why you buy one

1965 Harmony Broadway, all solid birch (not ply), pressed top. Best sounding archtop I own (I have 3), nice lows and great mellow sound and great for slide. Bargain at US$137.
