yeah as soon as I saw it on trademe I nabbed it for about $2000, which is kinda high but a brand new SG2000 is about $3000.

the guitar is second hand, I didn't put the pickups in,the previous owner did.

They are from a newish Les Paul studio I think. I think he changed his les paul to EMGs.

Well whatever they are, they are pretty damn good, and thats what matters.

its a 1980s one with a thru neck, but no split coils because the pickups arent standard.

The greatest thing about it is being able to reach those high notes without the neck joint getting in the way, and also it sustains forever

I'd have to say its definately my favourite guitar!
