Re: True Tone CS7 repair
Hey Corey, Thanks for writing in. I apologize for the late reply. LM1117 is the correct regulator on the CS7. If this does not fix the problem let me know and we'll be happy to help troubleshoot. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. All the best, Dana Weaver Director - Tr...

Re: Bluetooth Pageturner
I play in a jazz big band and need a page turner to navigate through the charts on iPad, trying to move out of paper lol. Anyone have experience using one of these for this purpose please? Of course the secondary use is for any iOS apps :). My searching so far has yielded: Xsonic airstep (apparentl...

Re: True Tone CS7 repair
Meh, the output died completely.
Will change the Reg out... Just checking, looks like a LM1117 from these markings and the pcb. Anyone able to cofirm this? Might ping a quick email to Truetone otherwise.

Re: Wireless
Update time. Been using the PTM-10 IEM system 500MHz band for a few months now. Audio quality is acceptable, it loses a little bass, sounding slightly thinner compared to the cabled headphone amplifier. However, it's not bad for analogue wireless audio. There is little compander hiss and its obvious...

Re: Mr Glyn Minx mini-hums
I would blindly buy any of Glyns pickups, they all do exactly what he says they do, the man is amazing! Best thing is to chat to him directly and tell him what you’re after and he can tweak the pickups to your needs :-) Cheers jb, I sent him a message today. :) Heard this yt demo of mini humbuglers...

Re: Mr Glyn Minx mini-hums
You could try the DiMarzio DP240/241 but you would need to adapt a pickup ring to fit them as they are smaller than standard P90. I really like them but no idea how they compare to the Minx I checked these out, thanks for the suggestion. Also, heard a demo of Paul Gilbert playing his signature Dima...

Mr Glyn Minx mini-hums
Has anybody tried these? Curious on how they sound, can't find a demo online. I have a PRS Soapbar SE, with stock P90s... it's fun but I want to try something less mid-heavy as I'm in a covers band where I play a lot of clean as well as dirt. I feel like these might cover that ground well, and as a ...

Re: True Tone CS7 repair
New caps in. Hasn't faulted again yet, but needs a proper soak before we'll call this fixed. Clearing off the workbench for this was a good excuse to repair a joycon at the same time

True Tone CS7 repair
Asking as I'm sure someone here has had one of these apart at some stage. One of my 9V 200mA outputs intermittently drops out, then instantly turns back on. Maybe once an hour. All other outputs are going well. Anyone fixed one of these before?
