I'm still off the opinion that Tokai's are better than Epiphones. But Phil is right that extra $400 or so you are paying is only really for more binding and a extra inlay.

There is only one guitar with a trem I will ever consider buying the ESP KH-603. Not just because it's Kirk Hammets guitar. Because I played it in the Rockshop and it's the only trem loaded guitar I've ever liked straght off the bat.

NO I hate Trems, If you want to re-tune you've got to arse around with them. I've had one trrem equiped guitar and I just locked it.

Gibson layout all the way. I don't hit the hit the volume or the pickup selector with my pinky when I'm playing really fast. But I always do when I'm playing a strat based guitar. Infact nothing pisses me off more.
