I understand what you guys are saying, but I'd still like to change pups to suit my style all the same.
The standard ones don't quite cut it,IMO.

Hi there. Hope I got this right, as I have just got back into playing after a several years layoff, and haven't posted on here for bloody ages. :oops: So anyway, I've just scored an American Gibson SG standard, 8) and am thinking of swapping out the pickups as the ones in it (I think 490T and 498R) ...

i hate norton. it's got a big footprint,it's really inefficient, and takes up a lot of computer resources. the first thing i did when i got my pc, was erradicate any symantec/norton software/files.

from what I've seen, speeding up and slowing down almost always happens at the start or end of a fill... the drummer can get their mind in the 'fill' zone and then have to get themselves back into the standard rhythm again, and the crossover between those two places is where they can go awry. spot ...
