Never used either - just give the strings a good wipe down after playing with bog roll paper and they seem to stay OK - idea is to pick up all the moisture. I use to own one of them Westone Spectrum Basses 8) my one had a Fretless neck and came with the fretted neck also,a dam nice bass it was.And I kick myself now,A guy wanted to swap his Black Gibson Les Paul custom for it and I thought yeah right :? He ended up swapping the Les Paul for a Bloody Aria...

I remember reading about him in the local paper about a year or so back,nice guitars shame about the ugly headstocks on some of them tho and the price "Ouch".
