Tone suck can be an issue and it is on my list of things to deal with but new pedals get the priority as let's face it a new pedal is cooler than a true bypass strip. it is just small enough for a single person lift in and out of the car. It has wheels in the case so can be rolled about. You could probably do it all with multi effects but I could never go there.

Molten voltage make a series of specialist chips which can be used to do tap tempo on trems or delays. Not probably for the novice but quite compact and not a microprocessor.

Empty 1x12?

I am after a 1 x 12 open back cabinet. I recently found an old alnico plessey speaker that I would like to use as a portable little cab for those times when a 2x12 is more trouble than it's worth. Any suggestions?

A head will generally sell for 300 - 600 depending on condition etc. I would have thought $600 - $800 for combo with trem

The hotcake is the perfect work horse pedal. Good for general playing but not a crazy noise machine.

I use a hotcake for 90% of stuff and a fuzz factory for anything requiring more get-up-and-go.
