Re: Speaker Options for my 2w Dumble g12-65/evm12l/evm12s
I have and use EVM12L's 4 in a 412, 2 in a Rivera 212 ported cab... id say you would want to play through different speakers if you are able.. my feeling is sometimes what I have dialed in at home sounds way different in a different practice room without all the carpet and couch, and has yielded me ...

Re: R9 GAS is strong. Tell me to buy this.

I was reading about someone that has owned a few and went to some shop that deals in lots of R9's and said he found one that was extremely resonant compared...

Over The Top in every way...From him and his wall of Marshalls taking up the whole stage with the rest of the musicians tucked away in the corner, to the ear shattering volume of his plexi on 10...Loved every second of it :D I didn't know you were going to see him... I saw him years ago he was grea...

Anyone tried a Tokai ES60?
I still have mine, I think, easily it is a great playing well made guitar being it is Chinese made. I think it would still even bring close to the same price for resale. Nice neck, pickups are fine, if you do upgrade just those it does take things up a notch. I have played Gibsons and ibanezs models...

Re: The Gibson R9 Corner
Well I guess kinda what I meant was, lets say I was going to chase that look in a Standard, do you just have to luck out that its actually in stock? I guess I could find a luthier to build one, im certain there are young Bartletts and Yarons around that might not cost 14k to do it... That guitar don...

Re: The Gibson R9 Corner
So how do you find or order one, how do you identify "that finish and wood grain" , I have looked around quite a bit, an R9 would be fun for a one time deal, a Standard would be fine as well, I guess that would be a prem top? I have looked through inventories in stores, talked to sales peo...

Re: Buying guitar overseas question
I think if you use EMS or DHL they have their own customs clearing services and quite possibly you wont need an import or brokers license. Also I think you only need to worry about that if you are shipping via ocean freight, that's when it gets really messy...
