yep what he says... if its open string its likely that it needs a new nut. if not you will need to adjust the truss rod, might even need the neck shimming.

yeah it was getting new wave...

we did covers of Sex Pistols, stranglers, siouxsie, clash etc ;)

We never got any further than the garage either, then I ended up in a Joy Division tribute band - playing youth clubs etc. Finally ended up doing covers in a 'club band'

its a bit of a shock at first when you realise how crap your timing is - doesn't take much practice to pull it into line though :)

quick and dirty though... thats all I use - do you need higher quality as a learning tool? I use an outboard mixer etc too, as long as you turn off the monitor its pretty quiet - if you want better quality get one of those extigy external usb sound cards. If you're serious about it you will have to ...

yeah that should be fine..

Recording yourself is a good tool in the process of learning though - you can find out how bad your timing really is, after 20 takes it should be a lot better ;)

nope for home recording the sb live is adequate... if you want to go for noiseless tracks you need ot start spending BIG CASH, it helps if you do it outboard too so not to pick up noise from the PC, but lets face it, if the monitor is switched on you're going to get a shitface of noise anyway. softw...

If you can play games with it, its plenty fast enough to do some awesome recording :) you just need a reasonable soundcard - i.e. soundblaster live minimum, don't rely on the inbuilt soundcard on motherboard thing. SB Lives are dirt cheap anyway so you can throw one in for the price of a couple of b...

oh that's a bit of a bugger! not well planned out at all, get the epoxy resin out mate, and stick a washer or two to the pedal. Do you use the LED at all?

I've never bothered fitting one to mine as its one of those effects that is pretty much obvious if its on or not.

The LED is connected to a little pcb board on the bottom the of the switch so the LED is inline with the switch. You get it? I might just put more padding where the switch hits the pedal... Nope don't really understand, so the pcb is fixed to the switch? Sounds a bit dodgy if that is the case...

Go to the switch and screw the washer thing that is on the shaft down a bit (so the switch sits a bit higher - just a little bit higher though). Now stick it all back together - and the switch should be a little higher, and therefore you don't have to press down quite so hard to switch it. the 'was...
