Re: Changing a normally open FS to normally closed

p touch? one of those impact labellers maybe, I now use exclusively paint pens, sharpie used to make great acrylic ones, but dont anymore, trying pilot pintor ones which are easy to get at many Warehouse stationary stores, the white would go over the black nicely, or molotow make a pen called liquid...

Re: Changing a normally open FS to normally closed

I made you a shopping list, you'll need a bit of hook up wire, I listed pcb mounted parts, you could mount on perfboard, or look up solder lug versions, which are less fiddly to solder directly to. or create a pcb in eagle and get that made, i have been ordering from JLC but minimum order is 5 pcbs,...

Re: Changing a normally open FS to normally closed

is this photo yours? if you already have this thing and you like the box, buy 2 momentary stomps and a new stereo jack and wire it up, you can keep the aesthetic and return it to stock if you wish to resell in the future. or buy an enclosure too, and paint it black, it a very very good entry project...

Re: Swapping Case. Rewire Footswitch? How?

Meter the contact points and the switch. My guess is only one set of contacts are being used and it’s a momentary switch. You’ll need a momentary stomp rather than the 3pdt you have there. Alternately. Trace the whole switching circuit to bypass or google trubypass mod for the pedal. See if someone ...

I have been considering one of these as an entry level scope, Bogan Boutique amplifiers recomended one on FB https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-instrustar.html Be interested in a review of peak stuff or alternatives, I have a DCA55 which gets a lot of use, but was tempted by getting something fo...

Re: TCE Fluorescence mod question

pop a simple boost inside the pedal, one of those SHO pcbs is tiny, sould be easy enough to insert onto the output jack.

If not, make a mini FX loop boost pedal, should be able to fit something like that into something tiny.

Re: Caline Fuzzy Bear Fuzz Face Revamp

I like 2k and 250k in FF builds, i'd add a boost on the back end (internally switchable perhaps) and as above some level of tweekability (or auditioning) to find your happy place with input and putput caps (C1 &C3) Transistors saveable, but not worth it with their little legs.

Re: Cheap battery powered pedal PSU?

you sure about polarity? looks like you just flip the little plug on the end, same as most multi adapters. if it works its worth soldering a good connection on anyway,

interested to hear how you get on.

jumping in on the Discussion on design (a bit late) The tower would look cleaner without fantail (move to top of box perhaps (the top side, where the dc jack is, on the perfect stage and pedalboard combo its a tiny billboard) and an led above each stomp, mode toggles colours, bypass toggles on off, ...

Re: 15mm ply for 2x12 cab build?

What about 12.5mm for a single 10" ? just piggybacking on this and seeking opinions.

I have oinly built baby cabs (4x1" / 6" / 8") but picked up a few 10's planning to use the 12.5 I have but could justify a new sheet.

Re: Cable Kits

As above, find the connectors you like (I always get switchcraft straight and r/angle ) but cable I have bought from a number of places, Jansen has good prices on cable, and also has a selection of plugs. The big internationals (RS, element14 Mouser etc. have the connectors too, and can be good, if ...
