Maybe a couple of pots, they ...

Re: Jansen 4/TWELVE SPECIAL
Great, thinking this one might do? https://www.amplifiedparts.com/products/transformer-hammond-output-replacement-fender-15w-8k Only problem is that it is a single secondary. Would prefer the 4 & 16 ohm combinations Get the 1760E instead of the 1750E Brian Smith will make one with 4, 8, 16 Ohms...

Re: Jansen 4/TWELVE SPECIAL
Yep, it doesn't mean much though (except its not burnt out), you would normally measure the impedance at 1Khz, usually about 8Kohms to 10Kohms for an EL 84 transformer. Re: Jansen 4/TWELVE SPECIAL
something black of which I cannot read the value. It's a "silver mica" type of capacitor. Pricey but potentially more stable alternative to a ceramic cap when small values are wanted e.g 10pF to 10nF. Maybe look at picking up a cheap LCR meter from ebay (or borrowing one?) to measure the ...

Re: Transformer winding in NZ
Brian has a lot of transformer specs. He recently made me a PT for a Gunn 100 using a transformer I had kicking around for the lamination stack. He also said he could build me pairs of Gunn spec transformers for the 200 watt amps I plan to build. Thanks, could you please provide me with his contact...

I have a gunshot of one of these but it is too large a file to post here.
The OP transformer has 4, 8, 16 Ohm taps marked and the image is good.
PM me your email for a copy.

Re: Home built Princeton head on trademe...
I've already built a 5E3 head (a Trinity kit, really nice - my first build), a BF Princeton (non reverb), 2 x by BFPRs and a Marshall Plexi 50 head. But amp parts are now so expensive with the high US$ (not to mention freight) that I'm not looking at building anything at present, although a hand-wi...

Re: Home built Princeton head on trademe...
The guy obviously knows his stuff. He has used all the right components and his build and wiring is excellent. Great attention to detail.
Better than an original IMHO.
