Good gig, although was a bit bummed they didn't play wild hearted son as that was the first song I recall from them back in the ...

Re: Are you still chasing something?

Very content with what I have. More interested in buying a new bike than guitar gear these days. Ha, much the same for me. I've not long ago sold unused guitar gear to buy mountain bike stuff. Imagine the bike you could buy if you sold me a 2203! actually I spent more on the last bike than th...

Re: Metallica 2025

Yeah I reckon they sell out in allocations, rather than actual seats. Plus the ticket companies have some weird version of surge pricing I think, though I know nothing about when or how they apply it. There's a good chance this one goes in the too-hard basket for me, as much as I'd be disappointed....

Re: Metallica 2025

Bugger. I'm in no way organised enough for this. I wonder what chance a second show? According to The Rock this morning the promoters have said one n done for the NZ and Auz concerts.. but.. we still booked a hotel with free cancelation just in case they are full of crap or get greedy and announce ...

Re: Metallica 2025

https://www.metallica.com/tour/2025-11-19-auckland-new-zealand.html I'm looking at having to get 8 tix gulp I haven't seen the prices yet, but I've heard they are well up there, and elsewhere have been subject to dynamic pricing. Wasn't what I was gagging for re opening acts either. My 12yr old son...

Looks like Zakk scribbled all over your cab.
Apparently so, before my time though. (its a ZW cab)

Re: A/B cabs

Looks cool! I briefly had a B cab under my 2203 / A cab. Together they moved a lot of air and looked bass ass. It was around earthquake times here in Chch (and my JCM head hit the deck off of the half stack at the time), so I stole the greenbacks out of it and moved it on.

From a servicing perspective? or subjective taste? If its the latter thats fine bro, be a very dull world if we all liked the same things. If you find a 5150 or 6505 head in your collection you need to part with, I could be keen :) ah man, one of my guitar buddy's has an OG 5150, but that is going ...
