Good stuff man! I’ve got a silver screw BF-2 if you’re ever interested Such great Flangers. Love how the early Boss stuff has had a real resurgence! They were the OG in many ways.

Re: Switching Newbie help needed
I haven’t used one, but did have a pretty serious look at them, and might possibly go down that track in the future. But I do use Gigrig’s modular power system and for what it’s worth, in terms of a ‘brand recommendation’, it’s really, really impressed me. Their customer service was great with me, s...

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
Shout out to Thomann! I ordered an Attenuator, Duesenberg Les Trem and an ABR style bridge on the 27th June and it all arrived today (1st July) I’ve never had shopping that quick! I don’t want to jinx it but the last few things I’ve brought overseas have all arrived in ridiculous(ly fast!) timefram...

Re: There can be only ONE (pics!)
Strangely I don’t have a photo of it on it’s own, so apologies for the live shot. I’d love to have posted my favourite electric, but if I’m honest then it has to be an acoustic. An electric without an amp isn’t much good for me, and on the acoustic is where the majority of my songs fall out! Brought...

Re: Return of the Gibson shocker thread!
I just saw a video which contained some of the Gibson one  I know he is working for Gibson now but who is that Mark guy? Is he from a band or something? Mark used to be the store manager @ Norman's Rare Guitars in LA, so bit of an instagram/youtube star. Oh right!! Ha! Well, at least he’s go...

I just saw a video which contained some of the Gibson one  I know he is working for Gibson now but who is that Mark guy? Is he from a band or something? I wonder if his leather jacket was made by the people who designed the first leather jackets?! Could be in hot water if not  My favour...

Re: Mics for guitar cabs. What has impressed you the most?
I’ve been using a blend of a Warm Audio WA87, and a 57 with results that I’m really liking. Very complementary of each other and you can cover a fair bit of sonic ground depending on how you blend them. I’m a bit the opposite to be honest. They may never win the ‘cool’ factor prize, but I’ve general...

Re: Show us your gig
Sweet shot. DD's rig must have changed a lot, last time I saw him he had 2x Fender Pro Juniors that had been tweaked up by Ryan. Yeah, that was the rig I was expecting actually! Not sure if these were just hired for the night or his now-usual rig. Super minimalist setup by them which I thought work...

Re: Show us your gig
Quick shot sent to me from down near the front at the Dave Dobbyn gig at The Factory in Hamilton on Friday. I’ve been thinking about using their version of my name in the future... Planned to take a photo of DD’s rig but ran out of time unfortunately. However it was very simple. His old 76’ Strat in...
