Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
This arrived today and it sounds spectacular, so versatile twisting the vol and tone knobs on the guitar for different tones and the sustain to clarity ratio is off the charts.

Re: Speaker options?
Interesting topic, all amps sound better with volume, but some amps have better tones than others at low volume. I swapped my big vintage non master vol amps for this reason, replaced with designs that don't rely so much on cranking the power tubes to get the tones or smaller amps like a Champ that ...

Re: Tone Seekers - Your Personal Best Tone
Being able to crank up a good amp and using an old Echoplex has me lost for hours, but I don’t get opportunities to play that loud anymore and an old Echoplex is a pain in the arse to carry around.

Re: Deluxe Reverb - Tweed Cabinet & Hiwatt amp
Can I call dibs on the coffee can speaker if you ever decide to sell it, that’s my dream speaker. Hey all, Last week I sold the deluxe reverb, so I started building a new deluxe reverb. Currently building a tweed cabinet for the new deluxe reverb. It is the same mods as before, but self biased, comb...

Re: Guitar shopping in Nashville
Can't wait to see some pictures and hear your thoughts! Especially on Dumbles compared to your Two Rock. The Dumble special 100 only had a clean channel and it was glorious, by far the best clean tone out of a lot of great amps on display for my liking. But I heard it at songbirds being played, I d...

Re: Guitar shopping in Nashville
Sounds like you've hit some amazing places! I have fond memories of the Bahamas, the beaches there are just ridiculous What were the Dumble's and Trainwreck that you saw? I'd hate to think what the pricetags were on those amps ?! The Dumbles were a special 100 from the 70’s and an Overdrive special...

Re: Guitar shopping in Nashville
I’ll post more pictures once I get home just finishing up Cuba, Bahamas and New Orleans, but got to see a couple of Dumble amps and an original Trainwreck and a lot of sweet other guitars including old Tele boardcaster and nocaster, one of them was owned by G.E Smith and Mary Kaye’s strat which I sw...

Re: Guitar shopping in Nashville
Sounds like serious fun! I'd be wary of buying from Carter's. They tried to sell a dodgy Bluesbreaker a few years ago (unsure if ultimately successful), and stood by it when the discrepancies were pointed out. They disclosed everything there is to disclose on this particular guitar, don’t think the...

Guitar shopping in Nashville
Had a sweet day guitar shopping in Nashville today . At Gruhns I tried an early 1960 Les Paul standard, a 1957 Les Paul custom, two 1955 Teles, an exceptionally clean 58 strat, a couple of pre war martins and a 1931 Nick Lucas Gibson all of these guitars sounded incredible. At Carters I tried a 1958...

Cornerstone are bringing out a pedal called the Imperium, basically a Gladio SC on one side and Antique on the other that I have high hopes on.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
If any one has a Teese RMC-3 wah and has had as frustrating a time getting the best out of it as I did, I think I've finally found the magic settings. This works with a variety of amps and guitars.
