Is the HT-20 loud enough to gig with? Depends on the cab. Let's say you had Greenbacks (98dB/W) loaded in a 4x12 stack, and you kept the power stage clean. Get a Jazzmaster or an HB Jaguar. Purely recommended because I like them, and I have no idea whether they'll make good blues guitars or not.

Five easy steps: Remove trem cover. Remove trem springs. Insert piece of foam. Replace trem springs. Replace trem cover.

Personally I'd put two more springs in to get more reverb, but that's just me.
