Chch, I don't really notice the sound quality when I go to a big gig to be honest, normally I've had a few beers and too busy enjoying myself to notice.

And I'm probably use to the terrible sound that is the "Westpac Trust Stadium" or ASB Stadium as it is now know as.

I went and saw them with QOTSA mainly to see QOTSA but I am a way bigger SP fan now! Would love to go but sadly it costs to much to fly to Auckland (for 2, gotta bring the other half) when I have the wedding later this year. Plus I've already paied for a trip to Aussie to see the Broncos vs The Warr...

Rhett, why not just downgrade the HRD to something a bit smaller that you can crank at church and get an awesome tone but at a lower volume? Maybe one of the small Vox tube amps or the Fender PJ? You will probably still make some money on the deal if you buy from TM so you can buy a better acoustic ...
