My very first, my dad made (he was an electrical serviceman). First real amp was a solid state Eminar which sounded pretty good.

My Notaklon is on the way. I don't really want it but I'm interested in how it sounds
But half the fun is building it. Would I get more on trademe if I sell it unassembled?

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
https://guitar.com/reviews/effects-pedal/the-big-review-line-6-pod-express/ Forgive me if I'm late to the party but this is exactly Slowy's idea of digital modelling. I got one. Just perfect for what I need. And with a 2 button switch you get control of Tap tempo - Distortion - Mod - Delay (or reve...

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
As requested :) The top really changes depending on the light. A little darker in person I think than as advertised on Ishibashi, which I like. The back is a bit scuffed, but the top is pretty mint - it's 21 years old to be fair. Same year as my LP Classic which is pretty cool I think. First PRS I'...

Re: NGD Custom Shop Telecaster
This is the original Broadcaster wiring, some believe this is what Keith Richards uses in Micawber with the neck humbucker, either way its a cool setup and I am similar in that I don't use a tone knob, I prefer to set the EQ of my tone thru pedals.
