Just read the story...

"Earlier this month, the writer of such Queen hits as "We Will Rock You" and "Fat Bottomed Girls" was granted an honorary doctorate from Exeter University in Devon, England."

Well at least according to my lecturers they do :D Good to see someone breaking the sterotype that rock...

Remember in school they taught us about medieval farmers who would leave a plot of land to lie fallow for a year to give it a chance to recover it's goodness? If they just kept planting and harvesting year after year pretty soon the yield would be so low they couldn't grow enough to support themsel...

Does anybody know what time they'll be on? I don't want to have to sit through all the crap to see them.

I have a Yamaha classical that I have hardly played since I stopped getting lessons at high school and a cheapy Karina steel string that I play quite a bit. I've been meaning to get a decent acoustic for a while, I just haven't had the funds. I seem to go through stages when I'll ignore either elect...

No, it's Black Sabbath with Dio and I don't think Bill Ward is the drummer. They're not called Black Sabbath because the original Sabbath is still officially together. Hope they decide to add a Christchurch show at some stage.
