Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT
Well, an interesting chat I’ve just had with Bill, the builder of Optimus Prime. He’s been telling me for a while that he hasn’t got time to build an amp so was looking around for something that piqued his interest…we’re chatting away, he’s telling me about this amp he’s bought, then I clicked, it’...

Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT

I paid extra for insurance (it cost me/the purchaser over $400.00 to ship to Alaska) but am still working through it with DHL's in...

Re: Marshmallow's build thread
Recently acquired a collection of NOS parts yesterday dating back to the 70s. Enough to last me many years of amp making. From Philips resistors, Yellow mustards, Matsushita and National capacitors, terminals, fuses, solder, solder stations etc. A shop was closing down and I picked what I needed fo...

Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT
Righto, an update of sorts. Have sold 3 more SRTs recently including my first to the USA (Ebay ad). Wanted this one to go like clockwork for all the reasons. I got me a DHL credit account but the freight cost is still hellish. So, built a 120VAC version, tested it for hours and freighted it to Alas...

To your ear in what way did the tone improve?

Do you remove the trem cover on your Strat?

Re: Towner downward tension bars
Thought I'd bung one of these on my Heritage H530 ( Casino ). Shipping being insanely expensive on small items I bought two.
