I tried that and did not hear any difference.
Maybe not but it will stop you having the high dc voltage on the Treble pot, which is likely how it should of been.

Shouldn't that Treble control wiper be on the other end of the 50nF Cap ?

I had one of those for a while, it had a small repair in the truss rod cavity from new. It was a cool guitar, something different.

Are these voltages with all tubes installed? The ratings for tubes are usually plate to cathode, so the voltage on the cathode of the PI will make a difference. Your B+ node voltages can be higher so long as the voltage from plate to cathode in each tube are below their max rating. Also, are the ou...

Yamaha XS750 (1977) just replacing a leaky base gasket but found a bent exhaust valve :wtf: Hmmm, how did that get bent? not sure, everything else is mint so pretty strange, must have been like it for some time though as it was in a museum for about 20yrs prior to my mate riding it the last 4yrs. h...

Yep you got it. Many amps can be miss matched by 100% without issues but I’m not sure on those 1W Marshals.
