Re: Smashing Pumpkins - Auckland Vector

Most Awesome Show Ever. Tonight Tonight followed by Mayonaise :) They pulled out alot of surprises in the setlist, good mix of old and new songs I thought. The sound was alright for me (I was standing about 20m infront of the sound desk) - It did get too loud during the 18 minute version of 'United ...

I just happen to have an Ashdown mag 300 4x10 for sale ;) It's plenty loud enough, Kristie kept telling me to turn it down - like all the time, but that's cause she's bossy;) I don't have it at my house at the moment otherwise I'd post pics. I have to arrange to pick it up, so I can sell it ;) I thi...

Its all pretty good. I really like 10,000 days. (The new one)

If I was to recommend just one album to start with it would probably be Aenima.

I noticed that amazon now have a musical instruments department. While I havent ordered music stuff from them before ordering books from them has been a breeze. I also noticed that they dont have boss pedals, I'm not sure if this is because they dont stock them or because it reads my ip and disregar...

Yup, the ibanez strats are wicked, really playable, nice sound. (Based on the early 1980s roadstar model)

Making a body, what wood and from were?

I've been thinking about creating a projectbass. It's gonna be a flying v :) Any suggestions as to what kind of wood to use, where to get it from and how much it'll cost, would be apreciated. I've gutted an old ibanez p/j bass and bought a new neck from rog, so now all I need is the body and some pa...

What kind of paint do you use?

What kind of paint, primers and lacquers do you use when painting a guitar? I've decided to 'av a go at making a frankenbass, out of an old ibanez p/j special. I've removed the old paint and I've got a lot of sanding to do to get it nice and smooth, the old paint job was pretty bung, but now I need ...

It looks so damn cool. Three programable channels + off = four settings easily accessable.

Fender Pedal Tuner Boss Bass Overdrive Thats it, I'm thinking about getting a flanger and replacing the Overdrive with a programmable sansamp bass DI - 4 switchable channels yes! As for guitar I've got a Danelectro Fab-tone, which is alright, I'd like to get a delay of somekind. But I don't really p...

If you can stretch to it get yourself a sansamp and use that for the eq and warm overdrive - you can also DI with it. They are excellent. I only punted mine on because I tried my Guitar POD XT with my bass and found I could get the tone I wanted with plenty of FX as well ;) How much do one of those...

How long before you have to change the battery on that Ibanez? I was originally going to avoid going active because I like things simple and easy to use. Will it automaticly turn into a passive bass if there is no battery present? Or does it have a switch to change between the two settings?
