I have managed this by having the cab on the tilt stand and moving the head forward until the rubber feet just hang over the front of the cab. Head stays on. Looks a bit naff.

I have just moved 20 or so guitars and basses from Melbourne to Auckland. Most through a shipping company and a couple as luggage on Air New Zealand. Lots of rosewood. No issues at all. No questions about what type of wood etc It seemed as if it wasn’t even on the radar for customs anymore.

Fantastic work Grant, given your day job its a huge commitment to find the time as well.

This turned up yesterday. Gibson Non Reverse Thunderbird in Faded Pelham Blue. Great build quality. My first Thunderbird bass so feels very different to the Jazz and Precision. When I am in Melbourne in the apartment I run the kemper into a Boss Katana 2 - power amp mode. works well.

I use a Line 6 powercab at home. The few gigs I did with it as per Oleg's suggestion- direct to line 6 Stagesource PA with Line 6 L2T as a foldback. As an aside an L2T for home use is good as well.
