Re: Don't Want Tube. Don't Want Modeller. Give me Solid State.

If a Katana was good for everything else but the temptation of infinite tweaking was overwhelming, a Blues Cube Stage might be the right call. Great pedal platform, legit in my opinion still the best clean tone of any amp we make (I prefer a bit of squish over the classic JC), and zero advanced edit...

Wow! Considering how much gear you went through back in the day, that's definitely a change!

Are you still chasing something?

A few retrospective threads here have got me thinking about my journey as a guitarist, both on and off the forum. I've spent a few years much less active on here, but recently I've been back a little more - it's been nice to see the community still going strong! Interestingly though, what I generall...

Re: How many watts is your home/bedroom amp?

Axe Fx 3 into a FRFR stereo setup, sounds great at family friendly volumes. 2800 Class D watts. That lives out in my guitar shed however, can't always find the time to get out and play. I'm on the lookout for a good lounge setup that is headphone friendly, but will also run through a powered speake...

Re: What a lot of us have been wanting from Kemper..

To be completely fair to Kemper - when they released the Player they said up front that it would be with a tiered upgrade system. All the whining about features locked away inside the software is a bit silly, that's just the way of the world these days. What I *am* shocked at is the PRICE of the upg...

Re: Neural DSP Quad Cortex / Archetype Plugins Thread

Does Kemper still have the thing where a capture only covers one slim of the amps sound? Eg. You need to switch to multiple captures to cover the whole gain range of the amp. I mean, all capture/profile type things suffer from this but I believe Kemper's Liquid Profile thing captures the tone stack...

Re: Neural DSP Quad Cortex / Archetype Plugins Thread

It's actually much more of a ToneX competitor by the looks of it. You get a gate, transpose, 1 chorus, 1 delay, 1 reverb all fixed. I just got a Kemper player and it does way more than this out of the box. Does Kemper still have the thing where a capture only covers one slim of the amps sound? Eg. ...

Yeah that's great news, was all over my socials recently and so nice to see. Although I find it hard to think of Devilskin using a dual neck gibson during a live show :) going to the show tonight. Ill let you know if he uses it. I can see how it fits with their music - they're a pretty versatile ba...
