No. Sorry. I mean when both pups are selected. Don't they need to be reasonably close in output level?

Thanks fellaz. The Humbucker From Hell seems very low volume from the specs (~7k?). How would this match up with a hot bridge pup? cheers.

From another thread, I was led to believe that a P90 was the most awesome pup available? :-)

Guitar is an old jap Daion Les Paul. Stock ceramic chrome covered pup which sounds quite good and loud when A/B'ed with a SD JB. Stock neck pup is mud.

Neck pickup for a Les Paul

Hey there, wanting to upgrade my neck pup to something that is not mud. Was thinking an SD Jazz, or maybe for something different a Kent Armstrong/Sky P90. I have no idea what P90s sound like in an LP. Your thoughts?

cheers,
grol

My first amp when I was a teenager was a Rockit SS combo amp (not sure of the model). Man it sounded like dogs nuts. Mine must've been a factory second, because I believe that they forgot to install the mojo back in the Rockit factory. The dirty channel was so bad - maybe comparable to a pre-transtu...

I thought that your description matched that note perfectly. I cracked up when I heard it. Gotta read the description first though. :-)
