Amp. front panel design.
Hi all.
I've recently finished building a Fender Champ clone, and need to have someone design and manufacture a front panel for me. Is there anybody here who does this sort of thing please, or point me in the direction of somebody who does ? Thank you.
Gary.

Re: Filling a hole...
Hey Jeremy. Love your Evil Roy Slade avatar !
Perhaps you could get a bone carver to make you a plug for the hole and etch your initials, or those of a hero, on it. Maybe even make a slightly bigger head on the plug to enable more detail.

Re: '53 Supro Ozark
That's some great looking stuff there, thanks for sharing (have you posted this before?). Is that pickup anything like those Stratotone ones? They are insanely good for slide. Yes, I have posted this before. I had a nagging feeling, checked, and found that I had. I've not had the Stratotone experie...

Re: '53 Supro Ozark
I'd say keep the transformers if you like the sound of the amp, since they contribute a fair bit. Yes, that's the conclusion that I've come to. I can put up with the inconvenience of having to use a step-down transformer. Resistors have no doubt drifted something awful but, I'm not changing them ei...

My Ozark, and ca. '65 Silvertone 1482. I have replaced the tuners and the tailpiece is non-original. Otherwise, everything is stock and in remarkable condition. A one-trick pony but, that one trick, thick greasy slide is outasight. The 1482 has had all the caps. upgraded, the grill cloth replaced, a...

Re: Applying solder to amp. chassis for grounding ?
Thanks Ryan.
I'm building this amp. for a friend who's sold on one expert point of view that a lug and bolt is not a proper grounding arrangement.
Personally, I'm happy to follow the other experts who say that a bolted lug will work just fine if properly executed !!
