Help Putting Together A Teeny Pedalboard

More or less hung up my guitaring shoes since marriage/parenthood/self-employment, got a random gig that I can't really turn down (uncle's birthday) and find myself with just guitar (LP) and amp (Princeton Reverb). Song list is linked below. http://imgur.com/a/WF2fs Most of it seems doable if I get ...

Re: UBass

I’d second a Hofner over UBass. I’m pretty Bender got the uke off me, I still have my 500/1. Light and effortless to play, great thump and can really growl when you dig in. Decent string bass vibe if you play it like one too, would be interested to hear what a piezo might add in that regard.

Re: Importer code? Bringing new guitar in

Basically just have to fill out a form and wait for your importer code to come through. If you're a business you can establish a credit account via this code so that anything that comes through on your code gets cleared straight away and they just send you a bill, but that's not available for privat...

Sounds killer with the 360/12 as well, never would have associated so much chime with a Fender

Did you buy brand new in NZ?
Yep, Dave sorted me out. They have some cool special run princetons with quite snazzy clothing.

NAD: Tweed Blackface Princeton

Been on the hunt for a low-wattage amp with spring and trem since mini-Eru came to rule the roost, finally bit on a Princeton! https://imgur.com/gallery/TRT2c Turns out I don't know how to get images working anymore. Sounds looooovely with the LP, nice chime and surprising girth for a small cab and ...

Loktite shouldn't be an issue, just heat the parts before you want to move them

Re: NAD: How my Weekend Downtime is Looking

Sounds like a bit of flexibility work is in order? I do feel like hex is cheating, or at least a different exercise, a big part of dead is developing the back strength and lower joint flexibility to clear the knees without rounding out or losing balance. If it works for you and avoids injury then go...

The Mooer and Eno rat clones are pretty killer and pretty cheap.

That looks phenomenal. I've never been able to bring myself to really add anything but a cable between my bass and amp but that might just be it!

Re: Chibsons

I've had a couple of Chibson DG335s, got them made without Gibson branding so it would be obvious to any buyers down the line that they were not authentic. One was firewood, the other was better than my Sheraton that I also had at the time; so luck of the draw. I'd agree with BG that most people par...

The Mooer is great, it's very much a screw-top though.
