Re: 1960 Guyatone EB4

Mr. Music came around to tune a piano and saw it sitting in the corner and said he collects vintage guitars and offered $2500 for it. 1960 Guyatone EB4

Here's another of my grandfathers guitars, one of the earliest bass guitars made by Guyatone. I can't find much about them online but I know it is rare and a music store offered me a lot of money for it... if any readers know anything about these please let me know http://i45.tinypic.com/33m7g94.jpg...

Re: 1956 Hofner 456

Cheers guys,
Unaware of it ever being polished with a compound. The cracks only started within the last 5 years.
I'd never sell it as it has too much sentimental value to me, but any idea of what it's worth?

I'll post up my 1950's guyatone next!

1956 Hofner 456

One of my grandfather's guitars, his first guitar, a hofner archtop from 1956 is starting to weather.. It still plays nice but has what I believe is lacquer cracking on both the front and back. Is this lacquer cracking and could it be easily/fixed? http://i47.tinypic.com/b6wlyu.jpg http://i49.tinypi...
