Re: Alternate tunings
Another cool tuning is open Am: EAEACE. It's not real common, but there are lots of interesting possibilities. You can also leave the third string on G for an open Am7. It can be limiting (works best obviously for Am and Cmaj), but you can work with triads on the top three strings while droning with...

Re: Mixed speaker size in same cabinets
Actually, I ordered (and paid for) this http://www.morganamps.com/amps/ac20deluxe/ac20deluxe.php Yep, he is lousy at communication and keeping to time frames. I'm contemplating requesting a refund actually. I can't even remember the colour I ordered...it was 6 months ago! Damn. I'd be going off my ...

Re: Mixed speaker size in same cabinets
...If I ever get my Morgan AC20 delivered (only 100% later than quoted so far)... Oh no, not another one. I've read a few horror stories about Captain Morgan. The story seems to be, "Great amps, lousy communication, especially after he's got your money." One poor chap in Sydney paid up fr...

Re: Sunday Jam Anyone?
Great job, team! I'm interested to see what everyone else's signal chain was like for recording their parts. Here's mine: AmStd Strat -> Flashback X4 (just a bit of slapback) -> Mesa Mark V on 10W Tweed mode -> Blackstar Artisan 2x12" (V30s) -> Audix i5 slightly off axis. Mine as follows: *1 b...

I'd be honored to finish it, but Slash-ed didn't enable the download option on his take. I just PM'd him. If worse comes to worst I'll record it as a stream in real time.crowbgood1 wrote:Common someone..put this one in the 'done' bin.

OK, here's a guy I sort of know from work (no, it's not me, really).

I Googled "killer groove" and this is what I got. Right from the start - the drums and bass, damn, what a beat. The vocals, Paul Pesco's uber-tasty guitar...This is just phucking bad-ass. My wife and I LOVE Live From Daryl's House! [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoXxdObGKuI[/youtu...
